Bear Creek WMA

A great place to unwind for a couple hours after work, or a fine lake to fish for the day, Bear Creek Wildlife Management Area, 5 miles northeast of Beatrice, is a local favorite getaway - a nice place to cycle to, hike through, host a cookout or enjoy a sunset over the dam. Fire pits, picnic tables and a nicely mowed lake front make it an excellent place to enjoy primitive camping.
