Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge
Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge, on the Missouri River east of Fort Calhoun, was created by the Papio NRD and US Army Corps of Engineers. The 4,000 - acre wildlife haven with flow thru chute off the Missouri River is now owned and managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and offers day-use recreation.
