Sandcherry
Sandcherry is a low growing shrub native to western
Nebraska. It has showy white flowers in May and
produces small, sweet, purplish-black cherries in July.
Sandcherry can tolerate hot, dry conditions, and prefers
well-drained soils. The cherries are especially good for
making jelly or jam.
