Red Oak
Red Oak is native to Eastern Nebraska and is a good
shade tree. The Red Oak attracts wildlife and in fall the
tree has a good red color.
The tree produces a reddish brown acorn that are
about 1” long and is typically pest and more tolerant
of chlorosis high PH soils than other oaks in the red
oak family.
