Lower Platte South NRD Offers Coffee Shop Meeting
Coffee Shop Meeting Scheduled
LINCOLN (NE) November 22, 2016 – The Lower Platte South Natural Resources District will be hosting an informal coffee shop discussion on December 8th between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM at Honey Creek Restaurant in Waverly (13631 Energy Way, Waverly, NE). This informal meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to visit with NRD staff and to learn about District programs, cost-share, and other natural resources-related issues. The primary focus of the discussion will be ground water, but the public is also encouraged to present any questions they may have about any other NRD activities and programs. District staff will be available to answer questions or provide accurate contacts if needed. There won’t be a formal presentation, just an opportunity to discuss any District topics such as cost-share, water quality and quantity, allocation, etc. in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. So, drop in anytime between 8:30 and 10 to learn more about the Lower Platte South NRD!
