ORD, Nebraska -- The Lower Loup NRD is now offering an opt-in text alert service. Members of the public who wish to receive these SMS (Short Message Service) messages can sign up at no charge at www.LLNRD.org.

Once at the website, clicking on the “Text Messages” link will take website visitors to a page containing the legally required Terms of Service. Clicking the “Opt-In” link opens the sign-up form. The sign-in process takes only seconds to complete.

The information that the Lower Loup Natural Resources District collects (name, address, email address, and phone number) will never be shared with third parties. That information will only be used to send messages pertaining to important LLNRD functions such as public information meetings, public hearings, and other information relevant to activities at the Lower Loup NRD.

Users will not receive spam materials from the Lower Loup Natural Resources District as part of this program, and participants may opt out at any time.
