LINCOLN, Nebraska – The Lower Platte South NRD’s (LPSNRD) Oak Creek Recreational Trail that spans between Valparaiso and Brainard will be closed Nov. 11-19, 2023, for firearm deer hunting season.

Signage noting the closure will be posted at every trail access. LPSNRD’s MoPac East and Homestead recreational trails will remain open. More information about LPSNRD trails is available at LPSNRD.org.
