HOLDREGE, Nebraska – Tri-Basin NRD board of directors voted to create an assistant manager position for the District at their September board meeting. The board selected district Water Resources Manager Nolan Little to assume that position, effective October 1.  Little started working for the NRD as a water resources technician in 2008.

Little, a Kearney native, graduated from Kearney High and the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a B.S. in Geography.  He and his wife Laura have four children, Emryk, Arlo, Leela, and Orrin. 

“Nolan is a great asset to the district.  I’m pleased that the board has elevated him to this new position.  I look forward to working with him to advance the resources conservation mission of Tri-Basin NRD” said District Manager John Thorburn.
