BEATRICE, Nebraska - Effective immediately, April 25, 2022, all campfires or burning of any kind is prohibited at all Lower Big Blue NRD recreation areas. This ban is being issued at the request of our local volunteer fire departments due to high fire danger across the district. The fire ban remains in effect until further notice.
