Our Mission

To assist NRDs in a coordinated effort to accomplish collectively what may not be accomplished individually to conserve, sustain, and improve our natural resources and environment.

A Statewide Commitment

Natural resources issues spill across political boundaries. NARD helps the state's natural resources districts approach these issues in a coordinated effort. NARD works hand-in-hand with districts on basin-wide issues, such as the Platte River Cooperative Agreement and the Republican River lawsuit with Kansas.

One Voice

By providing governmental representation, NARD supplies districts with a collective voice. NRDs make themselves heard on both state and federal levels through their representation in NARD.
